DESHA SHECHSASHEBI ARTHO-SAMAJIK UNNAYAN O MANOBIK KALLYAN SANGSTHA DESHA is a non-profit Non-Government Organization established in the year of 1986 for the socio-economic upliftment of the poor and landless people of the area. The Organization, since its inception, has been working for institution building of the poor with special emphasis on distressed women, girls and disadvantaged children. Main thrust of DESHA’s program is to organize the poor and underprivileged people into groups in order to enable them to develop leadership, manage and control for themselves as well as identify their problems and find out solutions. We are family of 136K+ People We’re not just an NGO We are a family of over 136,000 people who are passionate about bringing happiness to others. We work together to help those in need, and we always have each other's backs. We are not just an organization that provides services. Background and Mission of DESHA

DESHA is a non-profit, non-government organization established in 1986 with the aim of achieving the socio-economic upliftment of poor and landless people. Since its inception, the organization has been committed to working with marginalized communities to improve their quality of life. DESHA focuses on long-term development rather than short-term relief, believing in sustainable change driven by the people themselves.

Focus on Marginalized and Vulnerable Groups

A major emphasis of DESHA’s work is the institution building of the poor, with special attention given to distressed women, girls, and disadvantaged children.
